It is a very important topic today on college campuses as the incidents of plagiarism and copyright violation have increased with the advent of the Internet and electronic information. You will learn what plagiarism is, both intentional and unintentional plagiarism, and how to avoid it in your academic writing. There is also an interesting history, a discussion of cultural perspectives, some examples of who has been accused of plagiarism, and a discussion on how technology affects the issue of plagiarism.
