Library databases:
Business Source Complete -use keywords such as business names, product names, branding, rebrand, rebranding, brand name change, company name change, OR search for the name of a company you found on the website of famous name changes.
LexisNexis Academic -do a Power Search, use the same keywords, and for Source choose Industry News - also, when searching multiple words, separate each word by and, otherwise it will search as a phrase.
NewsBank Access World News -you can search for relevant articles in many US newspapers; use same search terms as before.
JSTOR -good for some older articles- see the 1987 article titled: Does It Pay to Change Your Company's Name? A Stock Market Perspective.
You can often find information about name/brand changes in a company’s Annual Report.

From this site you can search “state university” in the college name box to get a list of all US colleges that end with State University. You can then sort by size, etc. Look for ones like: Ohio State University: Lima Campus. They are the closest to a branch campus. Then you can click on the See Profile, Compare, & Find Similar links to get the facts on each of these.
NOTE: the List should include at least 20 State Universities; from this list choose 3 that have similarities to WSUVancouver.
