Finding Children's Literature Books Using the WSU Library Catalog
Go to the WSU Library home page.
Look for "'Find Books & Materials" and click on "Vancouver."
In the search box type in "juvenile literature" if you're looking for non-fiction (informational) books.
OR type in "juvenile fiction" if you're looking for fictional books.
Click on "search" and you'll get hundreds of hits.
(From this screen you can start refining your book search. This is where you may need to ask a reference librarian for some help with correct search terms, or you can use the red, Library of Congress Subject Headings books (on the podium across from the reference desk) to find the correct subject headings.
The middle box in the screen should still have your keyword "juvenile fiction/literature." Now you can narrow your search with more specific keywords.
