Areas to Consider

  • Content
    • This is the subject matter of your project. (example: mobile technology)
  • Methodology
    • This is how the subject is approached. For example, computer scientists and electrical engineers will have very different things to say about mobile technology than will Digital Media scholars, Psychologists, Sociologists, or Economists.
  • Media
    • Media addresses the kinds of publications you will include in your search. You will likely be searching scholarly journal articles. Will you include books? What about trade journals or popular magazines?
